solved his rear sight problem today with Lumpy Grits "3 finger" approach, I guess I was just afraid of over tightening her

LG, the Hadley just will not keep the rear site from creeping down as I shoot, as I posted in the other thread I switched to the original eye piece that came with the sight and she is staying tight
also one thing that this rookie learned is that I was not getting enough light through the rear site
the target proved this

You then have the wrong Hadley. You have the one for the Soule. There is no other explanation.
Do you still have the box it came in with PN?
Call MVA and talk it over with Jim.

I have not called MVA yet, Wednesday is my domesticated day, liquor store, grocery store, clean house.
Heavy rains forecast for Thursday, hopefully I will remember to call tomorrow
