Wishing!!!
If I had 'The Donald's' $$$$$ I'd make an offer for this place the owner couldn't refuse! Fattest cows I've ever seen....not a hollow spot on the ones I could see from the highway! This is an over-look location starting up Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado coming from Pagosa Springs. Just got back from Durango and Angie and I took this route back home! Each time I go back to Colorado....and I've been doing it since age 20, I never cease to be amazed at the natural beauty of God's creation there! And I've never seen a bad looking piece of stock...always fat as a butter-ball! Had a great trip! Just wish I could go back with a Sharps in my hand to hunt!

Elk tracks all around this lake up at 10,900'! This was near Molas Pass.

Great view Rick!

When the aspen leaves are golden, it is quite a scene from where you clicked the top foto., Molas Lake, near Red Mtn. Pass, nice drive!
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

RE: Wishing!!!
I saw some nice country on the drive up to the Idaho panhandle the last couple days but that is stunning. Nice shooting with the camera!

That sure looks nice. I grew up in Colorado Springs in the 60's and 70's. The guy down the street from us had a jeep Willy's station wagon. He would take us all over the mountains to ghost towns. It was super time. In 78-79 I went to Colorado School of Trades. From spring to fall me and a buddy would take my Chevy K5 Blazer and head for the hills on the weekend camping west of Central City. I'm 61 now can barely walk. Too much activity I guess.

Hey BillyDixon, There's never too much activity. If you hadn't done it then, you wouldn't even have the memories today. Keep your spirits up, for sure, and do what you can. Shoot sharp, Mike

In Chama did u ride the Toltec narrow gauge train. It's worth the all day trip. The train has been many westerns. The train use to run to Farmington.
