RE: Old Jim
Kurt , Ol Jim was pretty happy. Heck of a shot he made, that buck never knew what hit him.

Bill.
Cant make the Oct. shoot. We have three Birthdays that weekend.
I haven't got a notice from Milan the whole year about shoots going on.

What is the format for the critter shoot?

RE: Old Jim
I agree that's a pretty Sharp rifle and a pretty big grin on that Missourian.
Kurt they shoot 3 banks of 11 buffalo ( same critters from the old Ackley shoot) prone from about 175 to 260 yds.we set them up were ever they get dropped out of the truck, no set distance, no range finders. With them just sitting on the ground it takes a pretty good jolt to knock them over.
Score is counted as Knock down, Hit with no Knock down and miss. Hits are used to break ties plus total time left over if both hits and knock down tie.

Hey Bill. You and I should teem up and sneak in Jims back yard when the grill is smoking and take some of those chops when his back is turned and sneak behind the fence and dispose of them Tongue Big Grin

RE: Old Jim
Kurt That sounds like a good idea except I've shot with Jim and he don't miss to often. Think I'll stick with Fried Flathead.

Nawh, it's worth a try. Those big flatheads start getting a muddy taste Smile

RE: Old Jim
Hey, Idea I got it all worked out. Dodgy We'l sneak through the woods and I will get behind that big old Red Oak tree And I will make a call. When he goes in to answer the phone I will send you in because you can run faster then me. You grab the chopps and throw a couple chunks of that flat heads tain on the grill so it keeps smoking and he wont know the diff. Rolleyes Tongue
