By the way, that bullet is out of line, when you send it down range it will come back and take your hat off Big Grin

I bet it straightens up just fine as it goes into that barrel.

Had to run a Ballard to Lee Shaver for a 44 Maynard build so I'm camping out at Pomme De Terra lake, but my son said I got my mould today.

RE: .38-50 Hepburn
Will the 38-55 de- priming tool that baco sells work for the 38-50?

RE: .38-50 Hepburn
Ian,

The .38-55 is a little smaller than the .38-50 but I would think it would if the stem is thin enough. There is not that much difference in the diameter of the bullet between them.
I use a Ideal 310 tool that is setup for a .44-77 for all of my calibers I shoot.

RE: .38-50 Hepburn
OK, Kurt,
Stand ready to revive this thread with stories of your DZ Hepbutn 38-50RH
Indeed, I look forward to us doing the 38-50s shoulder to shoulder this coming shooting season.
