Gentlemen:

Thanks for the photo's and the insight into the patch/confetti/accuracy---------for me learning is the fun part-----ya never know when you will discover something unique.

Ill shoot loads with the new patch along with my current PP loads during the same range session we'll see what happens --- that way we have nearly the same conditions for the test.

If you change to a paper that is substantially thinner than the original paper you were shooting, the 'slick bullet' really should be slightly larger in diameter so the patched bullet is back to the original OD. I have found that a PP bullet that is a few thousands smaller than bore, is not accurate in my 45-70. But with that said; in my 40-70SS it does not seem to matter much.
