81-82 grs of that 1.5 OE seems to be the magic spot in my 45-90, and the 44-90 st as well. .060 fiber wad under the bullet.
I'm looking forward to that reamer getting here. That Italian rifle always shot so very well, until the thing filled up with lead because of the goofy chamber in it. Stretching that chamber on out to 2.4, should turn the thing into a rifle worth owning, especially if I can get the lock smoothed up a bit.
