An OhNoSecond

How many of you know what an OhNoSecond is ? I am sure you know that a NanoSecond is an infinitesimal slice of time. Well an OhNoSecond is that finitesimal slice of time when you realize "OhNo".

I had one yesterday. The 45-90's are all loaded, ready for the trip to Alliance. I was starting to set up for the 110's and realized that OhNo, I had shot my original box of 1F up. I do have another case here. Luckily I have time to go to the range and shoot 200 yard groups and see which load does the best.

This lot of powder is less per given weighed volume by quite a lot. There is at least 3/16th" in difference in the height of the drop tubed powder column. The original case does not fill the cartridge case as much.

We will see how this new lot shot compares to the old.

Smitty Pratt (baldhead9 on the board) is driving to my house here in Ohio from New Hampshire. We are going to try and leave on the monday before and take out time, getting to the range on Wednesday. Smitty is bringing his 110. I my 90 and 110 and maybe another if I get time to cast more bullets and load.

My tasks this week is to go shoot my groups AND find out what type of wine Mr McDowell and his lovely other half like. We have a winery within 3 miles that does nice work and are picking up a bottle for Jeff and Wendy and a bottle for Don and Caroll. White/Red/Sweet/Dry, that is what I need to know so I can take a trip up on the hill.
