One more thing you might take a look at. If you're using this latest run of scrapline brass, check your firing pin hole in the breechblock. We saw this problem jump up last week at Byers, things went to pot for a fella on the 900, I mean everything fell plumb fat. But there was some scraping evidenced on the case heads and primers. There was enough stuff scraped into the firing pin bushing to impede it, and it was acting like a broken firing pin. Took the firing pin out and cleaned the mess up, and things regrouped nicely at 1000 yds, and all was very well the next day at midrange.
I have a lot of problems with high primers using this latest lot of scrapline brass for the 44-90, due to the very inconsistent primer pocket depth.
