Hunting season in Texas has begun

You all are doing a great job on thinning out those pesky pigs. Please keep up the good work and good eating. I do however have a question. I know that most modern center fire ammunition runs at supersonic speeds so you get both the nasty blast from the muzzle as well as the crack as the bullet goes down range and that can scare things pretty badly and get those pork chops moving at high speed to be someplace else. My question is this, since most rounds loaded with BP are subsonic and not nearly as objectionable to hear when they are discharged, do they scare the piggy's as badly? Or do they bolt and run just as fast as when shot at with anything else?
