I have favored .060 poly with groove diameter grease grooved and paper patched bullets. I think they do a better job of sealing gas and prevent gas cutting. With bore diameter paper patched bullets I have been using .030 and .060 vegi fiber wads with a cork or felt wad for targets and a lube wad for hunting. I wondered about occasional flyers and when looking at Kurt's photos showing what gas blow by do to the bullets he has recovered I feel more confident with the wad stack to prevent this. One can only experiment and use what the rifle tells you works best.
