I have a mould for my .58 and it is a hammer on Deer

Betcha it is! Do you know if there is any substantial difference between the classical Minie bullet form and the Barnard version? Asking because it occurs a Minie or variant thereof might work for a certain application I'm pondering in a slower twist deep groove rifle. Conversation with another fella indicates the "Barnard Minie" shoots well in a 70" twist rifle.
