We'll stretch a point for you and call .44 larger than .40.Big Grin Of course, you can shoot your .44-77 but the question is, do you have enough elevation on the staff? I will look at my rifle and tell you what my come up is to put my bullets on the target. Back to you in an hour or so.

If you can get to that 1585 Buffalo with room to spare on your staff, you should be good. My 200 yd set is 62 minutes and a mile is in the 425 area for my .45-70 with 530 gr bullet over 70 gr 2Fg.

Come early and practice up.
