Chris my normal wad stack has been for years a card wad of some kind and a felt wad. I settled on the Muzzleloader original dry lubed felt wads a couple of years back. I did borrow the Napa rubber cork ideas from Kenny. I also like to follow the Remington instructions from 1875 to wipe the exposed patch after loading with spermaceti, only as we can not get spermaceti, I substitute that with jojoba oil.
