I took my Wife Hunting

RE: I took my Wife Hunting
Thank you Rick that rifle is my favorite of all the cartridge rifles I have. I would not change a thing if for some reason I had to have another one build. Single trigger, crescent butplate and light weight barrel and great caliber. The last hunt with you I had some concerns after the three shots that went through the boiler room and he stayed on his feet and needing one behind the ear to finish him to lessen his pain quickly.
The bullets where a little to hard after looking at the exit holes.
Three days ago I pealed the dry hide off the last hunt and that shot behind his ear and the exit took the whole top of the scull loose and knocked the horn off the far side. It went through a lot of bone. There is no doubt that the .44-77 lacked anything for the hunts.

Last night when I posted this Carol saw this post and I saw her get misty eyed, I asked her what's the matter and she said I'm glad I did this with you.
