I am always amazed by the different and ideas and opinions that different shooters have. Two guys with vastly different ideas on how to make their guns work often stand on the line against each other in shootoffs. I would say, however, that most of the shooters that are finishing in the top part of the matches are either doing pistol primers, paper wads, or swaging flash holes. I have not done enough experimenting to say that it absolutely helps or is necessary, so any information you have from some of your tests would be most interesting.
