Scopes in BPTR Creedmoor

Don't particularly care for them on the paper targets. Prefer a scope for the 22 silhouette, and appreciate it on the bpcr silhouette, but with both of those you can make an entry in both scope and iron. Target rifle you have to choose one or the other, and I prefer the irons.
Scope is nice in target rifle as you can most times pick up changes in mirage and decide whether to make adjustment before your spotter mentions it.
If someday my eyes get to the point where I can't get an rx in my glasses to let me shoot irons with a clear picture, then I'll go to scope, all but one of my rifles is drilled and tapped, and I have 3 MVA 23 in. and B5 , and a Leatherwood and DZ mount combo.
Hope to see you some time this next season Kevin. The Rocky Mtn regional at Byers this year will be in mid September. Lodi will be the weekend before fathers day, but I won't make that as it conflicts with the 22bpcr Rocky Mtn regional, and whether or not I go to Nationals this year will depend on if they shoot Monday- Saturday or not. I want to be home for the big eclipse on the 21st, pretty sure I won't be around to see the next one.
