RE: Scopes in BPTR Creedmoor
Don are the dates for Byers finalized? I don't think I'll be able to make Lodi as it'll probably be at the same time as our big match up here in B.C. I'm going to have a quick look to see how long the drive would be just in case :-).
I might shoot a couple of Creedmoor matches with scope this year. When spotting for yourself it's an advantage I think. You can read the mirage well enough to spot reversals and big changes.
One place where a scope is an advantage is the Ben Avery range first thing in the morning. I find that the shadows in the impact pockets in the berm look an awful lot like bullseyes through apertures :-). I guess I won't have that problem this March :-(. I just cancelled my booking.
