The 17 twist is a good one for the .44. I have the .44's in 16, 17 and 19 twist. I also have a GG and PP MB for the .44's and mine drops out of the mould at 507 gr with 1/16 alloy and that bullet does well out to the 1K
I wish my .44-77 had a 17 ROT.
