I know a fella that has a CPA that started out life as a 40-70, somewhere it got turned into a 40-82 (crossbow I think) Anyway it wasn't doing much of anything, and then he got ahold of some of the captec 40-82 brass and it's shooting well for him now. He's shooting a big ol creed moor bullet with a couple of bands exposed and Olde Eysnford powder.
I still got the hots to find a Shiloh Hartford in 40-65 and have it reamed to 40-70 bn.
