A shiloh 44-77 with it's 19 inch twist will spit a bullet 1.3 inches long (460ish gr) out the tube at 1325 or better. That makes it quite viable for 1000 yd shooting. Those will alsoshoot 1.35 bullets to 1000 well if there's not much crosswind.
Put a 16 or -17 twist barrel on the 44s and they'll take bullets at 1.4 and longer with ease, and the velocity will still remain at or above 1300.
