55W works ok, and 55Y, yellow tint is just a little bit thinner. 55 W will not enter my 40 70 SS fired case without 'slightly' expanding and using the fac. crimp die when loaded. while the 55Y will enter it easily by hand. I still use the crimp die to hold in place. both work ok....

Drop the crimp die. Crimping paper patch is one sure way to kill accuracy, and fill your bore with lead. Get a proper diameter expanding die, or don't resize your cases.
