40-65 strikes again

I’m going to try and kill a deer next week with my 40/50 BN Rick. I believe it will do very well. I’ve had the rifle a couple years but never hunted with it much. I’ve killed so many animals with my 50s it’s hard not to continue to use what works very well.

Stephen, good luck on the hunt! That is one of the few calipers I have not shot. Those 40-65-s have proven themselves here on deer and buffalo. Be sure to give us a report on your hunt. I am sure you will be successful.
