Save them for your .40 project Don.
The way this .44 100 is set up with what I'm using with all the difficulty it has been fitting the brass I will stick with it because the results have been worth it.
This brass will work as long as the primer pockets will hold the primers because nothing has to be done to the brass beside cleaning it and reloading it. No sizing or taper crimp needed.
I have 320 rounds and that is enough to play with before a match and shoot it without having to reload.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
