Interesting rear sight

A friend who is a former machinist stopped by to show me this cool vernier sight that was made by a machinist friend of his.

I thought the internal threads that allow the eye cup to climb the staff was neat. I was told they were made to fit commercial Sharps Borchardts. All processes were done by one man including the finishing.





I'm sure many have you have seen a few like this. I just never had so I wanted to share.
