Don, I have the 73 Win/Miroku SRC in .357/38 Special, my least favorite lever rifle for no good reason other than I just don't care for the cartridge in a rifle,love the rifle,not the cartridge,for no good reason.Certainly weaker cartridges have been chambered in the 73 I like them better, for no good reason.The Win/Miroku is as sensitive to COAL as your Uberti, I got a bit to long cartridge locked up in the action and a heck of a time getting the screw out of the mag tube hanger to pull the spring.I think the 73 likes the semi bottle neck cartridges better and handles them better than any of the straight wall cartridges.

I have to ask why a G/C bullet ?
