I have only FL sized new brass to eliminate the bad pieces I have even stopped case lubing new brass. The RCBS 'Cowboy' dies only round out the case mouths with very little actual 'sizing',both rifles don't mind and I have had very little trouble making shootable ammo. I think the 38 grs. of O.E. 2F supplies enough pressure that the need to anneal is really not necessary because of the thin necks when using W.W. brass. Fire formed brass is not even touched by a F/L/ sizing die, I use the expander to slightly open up the case mouth to ease seating bullets. I am waiting on a custom expander from BACO,they are simply the best expanders out there without the extreme flair factory expander dies make should make brass last a long time.I just happened to have new .429 size die and the as cast .430' bullets would not chamber with R-P brass, sizing the bullets they fit perfectly and shoot better than the as cast and W.W. brass.
