RE: cast bullet weight tolerance question
chaneylake - Bullet weights will vary for every casting session. In the beginning, they will vary a lot by weight and finish. Segregate them by your weight tolerance. My competitive tolerance is +/- 0.3g. On a session by session basis, most of your cast bullets will have a weight consistency where only a few are too light or heavy to meet your precision shooting goals. Those few go back into the cook pot for the next session. Try to develop a consistent casting process so that you dip, pour, cut the sprue and drop the bullet that same way every time. Consistency begets consistency.

Good shooting!
