Good to know Kurt. Did not Shiloh purchase the molds from Carmen when Axtel closed up shop? That would explain why they can service the rifles. Those Axtel's are fantastic looking rifles and most reports say they do shoot really well. The cost has always scared me off and I am really pleased that Shiloh is now making them at a price point where they are affordable. I considered a C. Sharps but they do not list several features the make a 77 like the Rigby rib on the barrels and by the time you added all the custom features , the cost would be at or exceed that of a Shiloh. Love my 74's but there is just something about the 77 "English Rifles"! Do you have a weight for that rifle?
