.44-77 and paper patch?

There is certainly a lot of good info that has come to light in this thread. My thanks to all who have responded.

Arnie, If I could find 200-300 pcs of good quality .44-77 brass I would do just as you say. I don't think it's out there unless I'm willing to pay $7.51 ea., which I am NOT!
I'll just let Kirk cut the chamber to Shiloh's standard and get brass to fit. When I find the right source I'll get enough brass to last a good long time.
