RE: .44-77 PP bullets.
Well I won't now until I try I guess but its certainly a sharper and more pointed ogive/ meplat than I had expected. The mould specified at between 1.4 & 1.42 and after a casting session of about 40 projectiles.. they are all coming out at 1.405" and in 16/1 at 493.5 grns. I planned this for the 17/1 twist rifle in the States...along with the last gg bullet I had made up. Looks like I'll have plenty of time to sweat on whether it was a good idea or not. Here is a photo of a few to get an idea. I've still to learn how to 'origami' the fold over a flat base but I guess I'll get there. Jim..to answer your question about paper.. I have a few to choose from now but tend to favour Seth Cole yellow in preference to others. Believe its a 7lb paper.
