Cleaning brass
The time has come after almost 2 years of hand cleaning my 44-77 brass to run them through the pins and anneal the brass. It is clean but dull and I want it nice and shiny especially the primer pockets and the inside of the cases. When finished tumbling it's is time for a fresh annealing. Beginning the new season with almost new brass and looking forward to reloading with fresh bullets and powder. Lots of shooting planed for this season using this very fine rifle. ( Oh and my new 1877 #1 long range 45-70 is about 2 or 3 weeks away). This summer I'll be shooting up my older ammo in several calibers and giving them the same treatment.
