done casting for a while

RE: done casting for a while
I will finish up with my .45 casting today. I cast until I start droppping bullets straight from the mould back into the pot. UffDah!!. Fire proof gloves on both hands let me break the sprue with my hand instead of a knocker. The sprue drops into a container beside the pot and the bullet in a padded tray. The mould is refilled and While the sprue freezes, I use a pair of wooden tongs to pick up the freshly dropped bullet and place it nose down in a loading block. This protects the bullet base and makes inspection of the bases convenient.
