Calling all 35-40 shooters

At one time I had thoughts for a .35-40. A friend has or had a rebareled Hepburn in the .35-40 caliber but I backed off because it might not have been NRA legal for silhouettes.
There was a discussion on Shiloh and I saved it. It took me a while to dig it out and I just re read it again.

I was reading up on that a few days ago. 35-40 perfect legal for this. I think I am going to get my barrel ordered next week. Right now I am very much leaning towards a Douglas 10 twist. I think I will make it into a 3.5 profile half round 32” long
