Trying out the #1

RE: Trying out the #1
Nothing especially different in this load as all the others I've used in the 44's. Napa rubber cork wad, muzzleloader original dry lubed felt wad, and jojoba on the exposed patch.
The new mould I have coming is a dual diameter, and I'm thinking that a single thick wad may be sufficient under the bullet. But won't know until a few get sent down range.

Hope your 44 likes that lot of Swiss better than any of mine did. Stuff scattered all over the place, the only thing to compare group it to would be 00 buck shot from a .410 at 100 yards, and my 40-70 really hated the stuff.
A wise man can always be found alone. A weak man can always be found in a crowd.
