I would never argue the points you’ve made here. Especially in regards to the shooter/spotter connection. Neal and I try to shoot together once a week from the time the snow’s gone until it comes again. We have access to a 12 point, 600 yard range complete with target carriers. We’ve learned a great deal by doing this.
I’ve shot PP since Jim K got me started a few years back. However, I’m slowly shifting to GG. I find it very accurate in my rifles without the fouling control hassle. I’ll still use PP for long range matches, just to take advantage of the increased powder capacity. However, after seeing Neal take a very close second to me at the last Harris LR match, I may be rethinking that as well. His load... 62 grains of 1/2 and a 530 Lyman Postel.
