I had just that plan two yrs ago. I acquired a 4X4 sheet of steel and brought it with me for the summer. rained so much that the only places I could have shot on a regular basis was off the county rd, so it passed for a thick bedliner all summer. Took it back home and used it for the 900 yd diamond at our Long Range Match. Couldn't have used it last summer much either because of the fire danger. Maybe this year I can just prop one of those steel plates up against the wing of an airplane and go to shooting
