your best bullet in the .40-65

CL, My .40/65 is a Shiloh, and I shoot the PJ money bullet, the Lyman snover, and the BACO 0.392 PP bullet. All 3 shoot well. The PJ and Lyman bullets both make nice round holes @ the 600 yd. targets in the wind; I haven't shot the .392 PP bullet at 600 yd. yet, but it does shoot well at 300 m. on paper in the wind. Performance in the wind (e.g. round holes in targets, no dirt diggers, etc.) is almost the #1 criteria for a bullet in this country. If the bullets will always make round holes, a premium load is then likely doable and worth the effort.
