Everything looks right
I look at this quite often to see what is going on as the bullet clears the muzzle. I don't see and gas ahead of the bullet when it first appears but as it is just about clear I see a cloud showing up. If your reflexes are good and stop the frame at about 00:58 I can see just a little more smoke at the top of the bullet before it clears the muzzle. This makes me wonder what caused this? blow by? and what effect did this to the bullet in flight?
