RE: Paper Patch Cutting toolset-with photos
Nice hint, didn´t expect such interest. But got also some PM, so checking shipping possibilities over the pond. Not much fun being from europistan. But seems I´m getting the shippers down to reasonable levels.
Sure would like to make more, making them was fun and having reason to make several in small serie would be nice, albeit I´m on hand tools only regarding this. Only downside with the wood I have on hand is its hardness (OK from the machining point, as I´m avid hardwood guy), but it takes forever to make it sip some tung oil or even ironing beewax into it. Have a "serving plank" from it for decent eating when on trip somewhere (not on foot, as due to 3+ lbs weight), about 10"x12"-took over 3 hours ironing the beewax into it. By 2 HP electric iron like the one used for ironing shirts, no sisy toy.
