I have a book that was given to me. John Wesley Powell's report to congress, it gives all the interesting facts back in that day. I never really paid very much attention to the book until I realized that there was a jacket in the book that contained 2 maps of the USA dating 1895. these are color maps showing Indian reservations, etc of the USA as it existed in 1895. both color maps are now framed and hanging on the wall of my log cabin that I live in
