RE: Badlands 2014 Buffalo Match
Details? Don't know if I have any details. Details are like a room full of pretty women; each guy sees a different one and does not notice the others, Rifle matches, on the other hand are like life; when you have it figured out, it is over.
Fortunately, the winds were down to mere zephyers and the temperature was so mild that the score keepers nearly froze. The rain held off until Monday but we have had moisture every day since. Hard on the hay that is still down but the growing crop was getting dry.
I will get some pictures up this afternoon. For now, those who were not in attendance can chew on these score reports and see how easy it was. Thanks once again to all who came. Until Next Time.

Did Dave Gamble shoot a perfect score? How often does that happen? And what did he do it with?

Yes I did shoot a perfect score, not sure how often it happens I think this is the first time at badlands but not sure. The rifle is my wife's pedersoli mini sharps, she broke it in just right. She don't like it when I miss with it, says it gives it bad habits.Big Grin If I miss with it I don't get any cookies. Dave

Thanks Dan and Mark for a fun match! Beautiful country and I'm surprised more shooters didn't make it. My spotter was so excited she broke her ankle, as it turned out, walking to the line before the first target. We went to the musical at Medora the next day and toured the TR Park. Looking forward to next year.

Dave, You have my highest compliments, for sure. I've shot perfect scores too but mine were all misses! That must be my rifle's fault, not being broken in or something. Good doin's and enjoy the cookies.

This was the first perfect score in any match fired at Badlands. Superlative marksmen and women in attendance.
