IdeaMud-flaps cut down/deflect most of that flying stuff.

Regards,
Bill

I have seen many Xterra's with mud flaps.Wink
The ones on my dually I made from commercial truck flaps I bought from NAPA.
Gary

Yep, my Xterra has the stock "mud flaps" on the fender wells, however, that doesn't stop the occasional loose geologic lump from dingin' around and getting shot out the back end. I need to manufacture some kind of bracket to attach to the hitch, and hold full width flaps across the rear end. That is still in the engineering stage, due to the space constraints involved. I suppose I could just drill holes through the plastic bumber and bolt the flaps directly to that, but I'm thinkin' that wouldn't last too long. The wife wouldn't be too impressed with the custom look either.Cool

RE: Quigley pics
Don, thanks for the pics.
The 45/70 took 18-20 min. on Wed. to center-hit the buff, during some of the stronger gusts, about 25-30 mph. The new Hoke LR sight had plenty to get me there, with 45 min. on each side.

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

Only a hardened man could watch this and not chuckle! Perhaps if I had gone and fought with the wind and of course lost, I might only grin. Nice job and thanks for the humor, I always need humor. Steve

RE: Quigley pics
Hey there Steve -- Thanks for the kind words. I took the video but may have implied that I was computer smart enough to actually make the YouTube video. I'm not. Whit Spurzon is the one to blame for that. http://www.youtube.com/user/WhitSpurzon#g/u Hope this helps. Best regards. Wind
