Grandaughter Anna shooting 800 yards.
My 19 year old granddaughter Anna Caroline shooting 800 yards yesterday. She asked her brother if she could just shoot two rounds. I've worked with Anna before and she was getting cold yesterday as it was chilly so the two rounds was all she fired:

They went into this AR500 plate as seen. It's 28" wide by 30" depth. I've taught all the grandkids to just hold center mass; don't need a bull! First shot was almost center and I gave her a slight right favor on the second shot as the wind had picked up a bit. Not quite as much as I thought as the round impacted where she held!

The range from 750 yards:

Just above freezing with the wind blowing around 18 mph! Remember! We aren't Eskimo's like you folks! The grass?? That' s rye grass! It stays green whether it's -30F until it turns hot in the Spring!

Rick,
Nothing better than to see some of the younger generation shooting! Great job on teaching and carrying on traditions! My oldest granddaughter is only 3 and from Australia, but thinking will start her on BB gun this next summer (not solo, but safety instruction and maybe firing a couple of times with me holding), she is very sharp..........of course will probably have to be when Mom and Dad are gone

RE: Grandaughter Anna shooting 800 yards.
I would like to get these kids involved in shooting BP but right now they're just too involved in other things! Anna Caroline is going to school at Western Mississippi College at Clinton, Miss. studying to be a nurse anesthetist and the boys age 17 and 15 are heavily involved in football and baseball. Both are QB on their school football teams and then throughout the summer it's baseball....fullbore! Just too dang much going on! When they're not involved in what I just mentioned they're deer/duck hunting! Maybe the BPCR will evolve later! Here's my grandson Connor with a small whitetail he got on his birthday which was this past Saturday:
