Proper bolt rifle manipulation!
Having to take the rifle down from the shoulder to operate the bolt is a sure sign of a novice! Shooting NRA HP in the Match Rifle category for a number of years will teach the below technique quite well! Watch this guy! He knows the method:

Heck Rick I thought every one shot like that! Tongue
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

No Kurt!Big Grin Most of my observations have been such that those shooting bolt guns take the rifle down from the shoulder to operate the bolt! A few I've known who shot NRA HP in Match Rifle class know how but the 20 shots a year guy is lost!! It's pretty obvious that the kid in the video learned the procedure the right way!!Big GrinIdea

Smile Well I learned this hunting rabbits using a .22 US 44 Mossberg. Cant get off a second shot taking the rifle down with a fast moving rabbit running for cover Smile
