Did not make it down south for the big weekend of shooting

So decided to finally do some shooting with the new 44-90 barrel on my CSA 75. The barrel is a heavy round contour from Oregon barrel. The reamer was borrowed from Iron Coyote. Cases are starline 45-90 necked down to 44.
Tried 3 different loads, 2 patched and 1 greaser.
At the moment the one that looks the best is 81 grs of OE 1 1/2 compressed about 3/8's in, with the Napa wad and the muzzleloader original dry lubed felt wad, under the BACO 434470 bullet wrapped in Seth Cole 8#.
Second best might be the Brooks 480 original postel lubed with BSC, a .030 walters wad and 80 grs of OE2f.
Did shoot some of the 434470 ove 78 grs OE 3f, but the few of those weren't really impressive, so not sure if I'll revisit those or not.
All shooting was done at 300 yds, and landing bullets on top of each other wasn't out of the question if I did my part.
Will be interesting to see what she'll do with fireformed cases..
