November Monthly Match
Fellow Shooters,
Oh, the joy of being match director! Trying to decide what to do is always tough. I have made the official decision this morning that we will postpone the November monthly match from this Saturday the 15th to next Saturday the 22nd. We have the nice, warm shed to shoot out of, but we have significant snow and cold predicted for Saturday. I am afraid road conditions are going to be such that driving won't be the best idea. Hopefully next weekend will work for most folks.
We are also strongly considering making these monthly matches a winter series. I was thinking to have six winter shoots with four scores counting toward a series champion. That way if you couldn't make a shoot, you wouldn't be out, as well as if you did make them all, you could drop your lowest scores. We would have some extra nice prizes and awards for the series champions. Of course, this would only work if we have support from the shooters. I am looking for feedback on this, so please feel free to express any opinions.
