Silhoutte Spec's
Does anyone know or can anyone point me to the spec's for a silhouette .22 BPCR? Specifically I'm curious about the drop on the butt stock. Thanks, Steve.

RE: Silhoutte Spec's
Acceptable rifles must be of BPCR Silhouette configuration, (exposed hammer, no hooked butt-plates or palm rests). They may be originally chambered for .22 rimfire, converted/re-lined, or BPCR Silhouette rifles with removable liners/insert chambered for .22 rimfire. Sights will be open globe front sights and tang/peep rear sights permitted. Scopes or sights with iris-type adjustmants are not permitted.
In the same manner that BPCR Silhouette rules prevent a technology race, these same rules are encouraged for .22 LR Silhouette for the same purpose. As stated earlier, this game was originally intended to mirror BPCR Silhouette in all respects.

Above is quoted from the 22 BPCR website.

Here is the link to the NRA silhouette rules book. Section 3 has the info on BPCR rifle specs.

Hope this helps, Cody

RE: Silhoutte Spec's
Stock: Forearm must be attached and shall be of traditional design
not to exceed 2 inches in width, cannot extend below the line of the
bottom of the receiver or base of trigger guard, and no attachments
will be allowed on the forearm. Measured from the centerline of
the bore, the drop at the heel shall not exceed 2 3/4 inches; drop at
toe shall not exceed 8 inches. No portion of the rifle stock behind
the rifle action shall be higher than 3/4 inch below the centerline
of the bore. The butt shall not be longer than 5 1/4 inches top to
bottom. Cheek pieces are permitted, but no roll over. Pistol grips
are permissible, but no flared or hand-contoured styles. Crescentstyle
buttplates are permissible, but cannot be over 1 1/8 inch deep
when measured from a straight line from points of the buttplate.
Commercial recoil pads are permissible. Stocks and forearms must
be made of natural wood and must be in keeping with designs of
stocks of the era. (See Rule 3.18.)

More good stuff from the NRA rules book

The above quote says the stocks must be of natural wood, does that mean that the laminated stocks that are available in many different colors are not allowed? even tho they are a birch laminate, merely wood and glue?

The way I understand it, laminate stocks are not allowed.

RE: Silhoutte Spec's
bummer, I was thinking of perhaps restocking my roller with one of the wilder color laminate stocks. I think that some of those colors available might really show off the CCH colors.
