For anyone in the Oregon and Washington areas, Central Oregon Sports Shooting Association has long range Buffalo Rifle matches on the fourth Saturday of every month, April through October. Steel Buffalo silhouettes are at 500 to 1000 yards, but the matches are normaly shot at 700 to 1000 yards. The range is located 25 miles east of Bend on highway 20, elevation 4,500 'ASL.
