Steak is too high?
Not hardly! I bought six good ribeye this morning at Brookshire's for $70.00 and IMO....beef ain't never sold for what's it's worth! Going to grill 'em this afternoon for some of the family and enjoy in a bigtime way! Proud to see the cattlemen being able to get a decent price! Turned cool here overnight and mighty proud to see these temps! Will be a great day!

Had a buffalo ribeye steak at a resturaunt last week. Cost more than a good beef steak. Got to wondering about all the rant and rave about buffalo, if folks paid for grass fed beef what they do for buffalo, the cry would be long and loud, I can't tell much difference between them except for the beef has some flavor.[/i]

There is a difference in beef taste, Good corn fed over grass fed Beef.

I'll guarantee you....if just two people went out to a steak house here to dine and were able to get a couple of these fine steaks the bill would be over $100.00 with just a couple of 'sides' of greenery! And I'm gonna feed six! And these steaks aren't thin......rather a knuckle and half thick! Angie will whip up a good salad for us and they'll be 'taters' on the side! Angie and I have sworn off the white 'taters'; only eating sweet taters. I've been taking off my weight past two months; swore off all junk food and such and on the way back down to 200#...from 250! And I feel a whole lot better to boot!!

Rick
Carolyn has been putting sweet taters in front of me and most of the time I will pass on them.
Since I been on the Buff meat it is as lean as venison and I lost 18# with out trying to loose it and I still eat my donuts and drink a bottle of German beverage to wash it down
Besides the Buff meat helps to keep the hydraulic lines from plugging up
