Trying out the scope

RE: Trying out the scope
Well, the scopes back off!! I shot a couple hundred rounds with it. No problems at all. But...after reading Kurts post, I started looking at my Buffalo hide from last year through the scope. I didn't like how hard it was to see the cross hairs. I removed it and put the barrel sight back on and resighted it. She' ready to go again, same as last time!!

The scope will be fine, and needed, for Elk hunting when I get back. We can only shoot spike bulls and if they are mixed in a herd, they are hard to get a good separation from the cows. Really tough if they at 200 yds or more. Ricks range will be put to use for sighting the scope back in and getting a setting for 200-250 yds!! That's about maximum for here and a BPCR with me on the other end.

Rowdy Rick,
A friend of mine and me are looking for a Buffalo hunt, what is your outfit?
